Helen is an amazing educator who was one of the key influences that helped  me acknowledge the possibilities for partnerships in education.  As a school teacher and innovative principal, Helen has been invaluable in developing school/business/community partnerships and acting as an ambassador locally and internationally on the merits of partnerships in education.  Through her initiatives I have observed what can be accomplished.

Helen is a person that has tremendous character and a true passion  for her profession.  I have seen many examples of the very positive impact she has had on kids.   She is a skilled motivator and champion of new ideas in an environment that is not always quick to embrace change. 

She works tirelessly for the educational enhancement of her students as she accepts her students into her very large extended family. Her schedule is hard to match as  I have spent many late nights discussing opportunities and relating a business approach to education.

Helen has been recognized nationally and by her board of education and the Learning Partnership for her outstanding contributions in a number of areas including Partnerships, Race Relations and Multiculturalism.

On Helen's behalf , I welcome all educators to reach out into your communities and draw from the many resources that are available to enhance the education of children.

I am very fortunate to have Helen as a mentor in education and a friend.
