[Introduction for kids]
TeachingKidsBusiness.com is a social venture initiative to engage and inspire kids to develop life skills which will evolve into business skills, explore and develop career choices, nurture entrepreneurship, gain work related experience and prepare for careers from the age of 8 to 18.
This site is a social venture with no cost to the kids, no advertising and no e-mail soliciting or selling of information to third parties!
We don't expect kids to know what they want to be when they grow up, but we will help them start to think about it, ask questions and learn to prepare themselves as they explore our website.
Once we give kids the proper tools, experience and support, we will be amazed at what they can achieve and what we can learn from them.
A number of fun and helpful business and life skill "tools" are available in our "Resource Center." When kids are ready to get some business experience, they can explore "Business Encounters." Kids can even create their own "digital product" and business in our "Just For Clicks Business Game™"! Family, friends and others can get involved through our "Community Involvement." We have provided lots of information to help you understand our website in our "Info Center."
TeachingKidsBusiness.com has a broad base of appeal to education, entertainment and edutainment users and as a community enhancement initiative. Our programming targets kids from 8 to 18 with encouraged participation by parents and youth service groups. The programming development engages the participation of community members, including kids. As people help kids prepare for business lives and kids participate to help other kids, we create a wonderful community enhancement program.
TeachingKidsBusiness.com assumes a strong sense of responsibility for nurturing our future business people. We will evolve as a leader and training/testing ground, for kids, in matters of corporate governance, youth empowerment and philanthropy.
Our core programming in the "Resource Center" and the "Business Encounters" are free of charge to kids. TeachingKidsBusiness.com does not derive any revenue from sponsorship or advertising from other companies. All products we sell have been developed within TeachingKidsBusiness.com with participation from kids.
We appreciate your support by purchasing products we have developed to help introduce, prepare and launch kids into business. The founder funds this initiative and other affiliated sites; www.kidse-marketplace.com , www.TheBusinessGameForKids.com, www.KidsOnlineBusinessCamp.com, www.KidsOnlineBusinessSchool.com, and www.TheGiftOfBusinessForKids.com with the sale of our kids business products™. Our products are available in our Kids Business Store at www.teachingkidsbusiness.com/kids-business-e-store.htm
A commercial venture is developing in our KidsE-Marketplace.com website. This site is based on kids developing an internet marketplace with kid's online digital information products. Kids evolve from explorers of business related content , activities and business related experiences to business kids in their marketplace. Kids experience a business game that provides the bases for an opportunity to launch their product into a kid's marketplace, developing as KidsE-Marketplace.com. It is the kid's marketplace that will provide kids with the opportunity to go into business and in turn will provide revenues through our social venture fund to help further develop programming and the management of the TeachingKidsBusiness.com website.
We feel that a business association with a kid's venture, such as KidsE-Marketplace.com is true to our cause and one that benefits kids. Through this strategy we can maintain our high safety & programming standards and we are not influenced or put in a compromising position for commercial gain. We can respond to kids needs rather then our advertisers or sponsors needs.
Kids help other kids through their marketplace participation which in turn returns funding to the further development of TeachingKidsBusiness.com. kid's are also encouraged to participate in all our program development (i.e. "Business Case Studies" ) which is shared with kids on the website. Kids helping kids is prevalent throughout the site.
Our concept of teaching goes beyond traditional teacher - student interactions. We have added kids and community members to contribute to the teaching and learning experience. We believe that it takes a community to provide a whole education.
We also have to teach adults to start talking to kids about business. An important part of parenting and preparing kids for independence is to provide kids with the right resources and guidance. This is one of our key goals that we thrive to deliver.
Enjoy!!!
