Business-Lunch-For-Kids - Donate some bites of advice for kids.

Markham, Canada and Seattle Washington, USA, January 23, 2003

TeachingKidsBusiness.com today announced that it has launched it's Business-Lunch-For-Kids program.

As you take a business lunch, find a little time to scratch out some "bites" of business and career advice for kids.

The concept is for business people to donate a part of their lunch time to provide kids with a little business and career advice which  will be shared with kids on a website.

Jeff M. Brown, Founder of TeachingKidsBusiness.com realizes how difficult it is for people to find time for community involvement initiatives.  Brown acknowledges, " lunch time is one of few times people are likely to have a few free moments and  we would like to encourage them to donate a little of their lunch time to share some advice with kids."

Brown created this program to provide; kids with access to business people's advice,  a community initiative program that is an efficient use of business peoples donated time and effective use of business peoples expertise and advice.

Brown hopes that people will have some fun with this idea as it could spark some interesting conversations at lunch. The thought of,  "if I was to do it over again" is certainly a great topic for discussion and a source of some great advice for kids. Other ideas to consider  for advice to kids can be found at www.teachingkidsbusiness.com/business-lunch-for-kids.htm

For those who never have time for lunch, the program hopes to encourage them to be a little selfish and take some lunch time;  to recharge, have some think time and participate in a program that will help kids make the right decisions in mapping out their futures.

The advice can be forwarded to info@teachingkidsbusiness.com who will post advice for kids at www.teachingkidsbusiness.com/bites-of-advice.htm .

Brown realized that people want to contribute time to causes they believe in, but the time commitments tend to prevent them from participating at all .  TeachingKidsBusiness.com has created this  community involvement approach that allows people to make a small time commitment that can have a great impact on many kids.

TeachingKidsBusiness.com is a social venture developing to engage and inspire kids at an early age (8 to 18) to develop confidence, experience,  business skills and explore career choices.  The website presents "tools", "experiences" and "community involvement" support in a safe, educational, non-pressure, non-commercial and fun way.
