The sterile gauze pad adheres to the skin's surface and maintains the integrity of the wound bed, preventing any additional contamination from external sources.
- IDEAL FOR LIGHTLY DRAINING WOUNDS - The adhesiveness and hydrocolloid design of the AWD Medical Island Dressing is ideal for lightly draining wounds. These dressings are designed to provide a moist wound recovery environment for shallow wounds, abrasions, burns, and lacerations.
- ANTI-ADHERENT BREATHABLE DRESSING - This product is made of a 100% breathable material, so the skin can breathe and avoid excessive perspiration. This product also has an adhesive strip on the sides to eliminate the need for tape or surgical glue. The dressing absorbs exudate and prevents the wound from drying out.
